(Discussing superheros, after expressing an interest in seeing “Iron Man”.

4-year-old: Mommy, what’s an identity?

Me: It’s who you really are.

4-year-old: So Spiderman has an identity, and that’s who he really is?

Me: Yup. And no one knows he’s really Spiderman.

4-year-old: Does his mom know?

Me: Nope. Not even his mom.

(Pause, 4-year-old wheels turning)

4-year-old: I bet his grandma knows.
