A small triumph

Sometimes I see glimpses of justice in an otherwise cruelly unfair world.

Thank God for that judge in Malawi, who has refused Madonna’s application to adopt a second child without actually, you know, adhering to the adoption laws, thus sending a signal to those people who believe themselves to be above such mundane inconveniences.

It will be interesting to see how hard she fights the ruling. Or if it’s just a matter of “shopping around” for another place that carries the same handbag- um, I mean, brand of child.

(You know you needed more snark in your Friday. Now go have a margarita.)

I don’t know if you watch bu SNL had a great skit of this on the Weekend News update.

I’m glad she didn’t get the adoption either; I’m sure many of the kids in foster care in the US would love to be adopted too.

    Charity begins at home.
