In which I grumble loudly and plaintively

Black, chalk-striped Kenneth Cole suit, found in a very shady K&G in torrential downpour by order of the groom, faintly reminiscent of big pimpin’: $140.

J. Crew silk chiffon “Sophia” dress in “Spiced Wine”, to atone for the shady trip to K&G: $170.

Car rental for three weekend days, including two carseats so Mommy isn’t imprisoned by the nice State Police Officer for child endangerment: $270.

Tickets for four to a non-major airport over Memorial Day weekend: $1200.

Watching your baby brother on the happiest day of his life: better be priceless. Or I’m suing.

You forgot to add the waterproof make-up, tissues and distraction toys/food in your calculations, missy.

    Memorial day weekend?! Sue!
And you can’t take the carseats on the plane? Most airlines will fly them for free.
